Tomorrow on Veterans Day, we pause to honor with gratitude and acknowledge all the veterans in our lives, both those who currently serve and those who have previously served. On this day, we remember your service and the sacrifices you and your families made in the name of freedom and safety. On the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, at the eleventh hour in 1918, there was a cessation of fighting in World War I. November 11th was named “Armistice Day” – a day to remember those who served in the war. In 1938, November 11th was further adopted as a national holiday, and in 1954 Armistice Day was renamed “Veterans Day” to include all American veterans who have served our country. To those in uniform serving today and to those who have served in the past, we honor you today and every day. 🇺🇸
